The Wordsworth Winter School, 22-27 February, 2010
Theme: "Wordsworth and Romantic Story-Telling"
This highly convivial house party, now held at Forest Side Hotel Grasmere, has run every year since 1982. The five day educational event, sponsored by The Wordsworth Conference Foundation, includes lectures, seminars, poetry readings, walks, excursions and other events, and is open to postgrads, students, teachers and enthusiasts.
Speakers in 2010 are: David Chandler (Doshisha), Richard Gravil (Director), Felicity James (Leicester), Claire Lamont (Newcastle), Michael O'Neill (Durham), Christopher Simons (ICU, Tokyo), Ken Smith (Broadford) and Pamela Woof (The Wordsworth Trust).
The registration fee is £135 and full board ranges from only £200 to £320 per person per night. Please see www.wordsworthconferences.org for full details.

The Wordsworth Summer Conference, 28 July to 7 August, 2010
Details of the Wordsworth Summer Conference will be published on the The Wordsworth Conference Foundation website in late August. As this will be the 40th Anniversary Conference and accommodation is very limited, early booking is advised. At least 12 postgraduate, postdoctoral amd general bursaries will be offered, so please check the website, http://www.wordsworthconferences.org.uk regularly for updates.
