Midlands Romantic Seminar
The inaugural meeting of the Midlands Romantic Seminar will be hold on Saturday 29th June, 2.00-5.30pm in the Shakespeare Memorial Room, Birmingham Central Library Chamberlain Square , Birmingham B3.
All are welcome to come: postgraduate students are especially encouraged to attend. There is no attendance charge.
The speakers will be:
Veronica Melnyk ( Birmingham University ) "A Sort of Don Juan in Prose": Byron, Disraeli and the Fashionable Publications of Henry Colburn
Keri Davies ( London University ) Descent and Dissent: William Blake's Provincial Matters
Discussion of the papers will be followed by a panel of informal presentations of research projects by current postgraduates.
