Each GTA studentship includes a \u2018package\u2019 with a total value in excess of \u00a320,000 for UK and EU students and \u00a330,000 for International students per annum. This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A stipend of\u00a0<strong>\u00a39,180<\/strong>\u00a0per annum<\/li>\n<li>Full waiver of research degree tuition fees worth\u00a0<strong>\u00a34,300<\/strong>\u00a0per annum for\u00a0<strong>UK and EU students<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>\u00a313,750<\/strong>\u00a0per annum for\u00a0<strong>international students<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a35,500<\/strong>\u00a0per annum to contribute to the cost of accommodation\u00a0<em>or\u00a0<\/em>free single room postgraduate student accommodation on campus\u00a0<em>(subject to availability)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Full waiver of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/clt\/centre-learning-teaching-clt\/postgraduate-certificate-in-teaching-in-higher-education\/?tab=applying-for-the-pgcthe\">Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education<\/a>\u00a0tuition fee\u00a0<strong>(worth \u00a31740)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It\u2019s an exciting time to be a nineteenth-century researcher at Edge Hill! The university is home to EHU Nineteen: an interdisciplinary research group fostering outstanding research and teaching in nineteenth century topics; collaborative opportunities with museums, galleries and heritage partners in the North West and UK; a visiting speaker series and conference programme including hosting BARS\/NASSR 2021.<\/p>\n<p>We welcome proposals on any aspect of nineteenth-century history, literature and culture, and we would be particularly pleased to supervise projects in the following fields:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nineteenth-century print culture<\/li>\n<li>Romantic, Victorian and Fin de Si\u00e8cle literature<\/li>\n<li>Children\u2019s literature<\/li>\n<li>Gothic and sensation fiction<\/li>\n<li>Gender and sexuality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We would be delighted to discuss potential projects in advance.
