It contains full length critical essays by Robert Heyes, Markus Poetzsch, C. M. Jackson-Houlston and Zachary Suetta, a new poem by Jonathan Tulloch,&nbsp; an Index of Significant Publications on Clare across the last year edited by Andrew Hodgson and Erin Lafford, and book reviews as usual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is 200 years since Clare&#8217;s first book, and to mark it we include ten &#8216;Anniversary Shorts: Studies of Poems from Poems Descriptive of Rural Life and Scenery&#8217; &#8211; brief essays on particular poems by John Goodridge, Bridget Keegan, Simon K\u00f6vesi, Erin Lafford, Scott McEathron, James C. McKusick, Emma Mason, Valerie Pedlar, Fiona Stafford, and Sarah Zimmerman.
