He is a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=http%3A%2F%2Femco.swansea.ac.uk%2F&amp;data=04%7C01%7CJ.T.G.Orchard%40Swansea.ac.uk%7C465b3502e1f742d1679208d946b209e6%7Cbbcab52e9fbe43d6a2f39f66c43df268%7C0%7C0%7C637618552757318233%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&amp;sdata=97ZPfnN2hBTz63cnL5ulKYrm3jZDM4heyWm6LndTInk%3D&amp;reserved=0\" target=\"_blank\">Elizabeth Montagu\u2019s Correspondence Online<\/a>&nbsp;project at Swansea University, and his research focuses on late eighteenth-century reading practices, literary criticism and women\u2019s correspondence, as well as the parallels between eighteenth-century reading practices and contemporary media engagement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As BARS Communications Assistant he will be responsible for maintaining the BARS Blog alongside Dr Anna Mercer and Dr Emily Paterson-Morgan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u2018Archive Spotlight\u2019 blog will continue to focus on showcasing and exploring physical archives and archival research, but will also now address digital projects as well. \u2018On This Day\u2019 will continue to explore the anniversaries of significant, interesting, or amusing, events from the Romantic era, and the new \u2018Romanticism Now\u2019 series will focus on Romanticism in pop culture; Historical Fictions, Period Films and TV Drama, Video Games and more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He will also be assisting with circulating news about Calls for Papers and other events in the Romantic Studies community, if you\u2019d like to be a contributor to any of these Blog series\u2019 or have an event you\u2019d like to circulate, please get in touch<a href=\"mailto:j.t.g.orchard@swansea.ac.uk\"> j.t.g.orchard@swansea.ac.uk<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you to everyone who showed an interest in this post, and we hope to renew the post in future years, so keep up to date by following BARS on Twitter <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/BARS_Official\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"www.twitter.com\/BARS_Official\">@BARS_Official.<\/a> You can also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bars.ac.uk\/main\/index.php\/how-to-join\/\">become a member of BARS<\/a> to be added to our Mailing List.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BARS is committed to supporting early-career and postgraduate researchers.
