{"id":5429,"date":"2024-08-01T21:34:54","date_gmt":"2024-08-01T21:34:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bars.ac.uk\/blog\/?p=5429"},"modified":"2024-08-01T21:34:54","modified_gmt":"2024-08-01T21:34:54","slug":"call-for-digital-reviews-for-romanticism-on-the-net","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bars.ac.uk\/blog\/?p=5429","title":{"rendered":"Call for Digital Reviews for Romanticism on the Net"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ronjournal.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Romanticism on the Net<\/em><\/a>&nbsp;is seeking reviews of digital projects to highlight digital scholarship by and for Romanticists.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Digital reviews should be approximately 1,000 words in length and address the project\u2019s scholarly contribution to Romantic studies as well as some of its technical elements, including data model and interface, where appropriate. Digital scholarship that is eligible for review includes database projects, digital editions and archives, bibliographies and catalogues, maps, exhibits, and resources for teaching and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some recent projects we would be excited to evaluate, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucl.ac.uk\/lbs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Centre for the Study of the Legacies of British Slavery<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryhamiltonpapers.alc.manchester.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Unlocking the Mary Hamilton Papers<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ecppec.ncl.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Eighteenth-Century Political Participation and Electoral Culture<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucd.ie\/southhem\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SouthHem<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zooniverse.org\/projects\/humphrydavy\/davy-notebooks-project\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Davy Notebooks Project<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/editions.covecollective.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">COVE<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A longer list of relevant projects can be found on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ronjournal.org\/neuron\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NeuRoN: Digital Resources for Researching British Romanticism<\/a>.
