The Early Career and Postgraduate Conference

The BARS Early Career and Postgraduate Conference is currently held biennially.  It provides a friendly forum in which researchers can present their own work, learn about professional practices and socialise and connect with their contemporaries.  It is organised by the Early Career and Postgraduate representatives on the BARS Executive.

BARS ECR & PGR Conference 2025: Romantic (Un)Consciousness

We are delighted to announce that the next British Association for Romantic Studies (BARS) Early Career Researcher and Postgraduate Researcher Conference, ‘Romantic (Un)Consciousness’, will take place at Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge on 4-5 September 2025 and online on 12 September 2025.
